Newtown, a documentary about the December 14, 2012 school shooting in Connecticut, premiered at Sundance earlier this year and has been lauded by critics from coast to coast.
Newtown comes to theaters Wednesday, November, 2 — one night only — for a special screening event, followed by a nationwide live town hall discussion that will be moderated by CNN’s Chris Cuomo.
The film will be screened at the Ann Arbor 20 – IMAX, Ypsilanti, MI and Quality 16 theater on Jackson Road. Both shows will begin at 7:30pm.
The film is an emotional story, but its purpose is worthwhile — to spark discussion and change.
