April 7 – 11 is National Youth Violence Prevention week. Organizations across the country are sponsoring various events and activities to help raise awareness of means to prevent youth violence. Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) has an excellent collection of activities happening throughout the week.
The Michigan Youth Violence Prevention Center (MI-YVPC) is participating by sponsoring the Future Flint Video Contest. Let the community know what you believe will make your neighborhood a safer, more inviting place. What do you believe needs to change? How would you do it?
