Biography
Lynn Massey is a Senior Project Manager for the Michigan Youth Violence Prevention Center. She assists with overseeing the research lab for Dr. Patrick Carter which is focused on reducing risky behaviors related to gun carriage and youth violence. Lynn has over 20 years of experience coordinating federally-funded research studies focused on reducing and preventing substance use and youth violence. She is committed to using her social work skills to train others and her research background to disseminate brief interventions that are evidence-based to break the cycle of violence among our youth. She holds an MSW from the University of Michigan.
