Biography
Lauren Meldrum is the Muskegon-based Youth and Community Engagement Lead for the MI-Youth Violence Prevention Center. She assists in engaging youth and local community partners in gun violence prevention efforts in Muskegon County to better understand root causes and work together to build an evidence base for grassroots prevention efforts. Prior to joining the team, Lauren has experience serving as an executive-level leader at a community mental health organization overseeing prevention, early intervention, community partnerships and alignment, trauma-informed care, and Systems of Care for youth and families. She holds a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan.
