It is always nice to see a bit of good news regarding youth violence.

CNN ran a piece today on a new study that finds an overall decline in violence and crime involving children from 2003 through 2011. The study was published in the latest edition of JAMA Pediatrics.

This decline was evident regardless of race or socio-economic status, and was not hampered by the recession.

  1. It is great to hear that violence and crime is down with our youth, even better across all races. Thanks to the various educational programs bullying and assaults are down. We just need to be able to do more in our schools to keep our children safer.
